I'm a professional blogger and have been since I started freelancing in 2010. I split my time between writing light-hearted ‘clickworthy’ blogs, articles and lists for entertainment/media sites and producing professional blogs for businesses in all sorts of weird and wonderful (and more normal) fields and sectors.

I’ve worked for clients across the world: The UK, USA, Australia, South Africa… I’m happy shifting styles, working in UK or US English and adapting tones to suit my client’s needs.

I also write copy for various business websites, writing and rewriting web pages, emails, internal comms and other content to make it more engaging and easier to read. I've written quite a few sites from scratch too.

If you want drilled-down, industry-specific, jargon-filled content, I’m probably not your man. But if you want readable, shareable and interesting think pieces about your business or industry, then maybe I am...

I have written for a host of big websites including: Yahoo! The Guardian, Orange, Penguin/Random House, Digiguide, Virgin Media, Rileys Sports Bars, Empire, The Hook and hundreds more besides. I've also contributed to a few print titles including The Sun's TV Magazine.

I've lots of experience writing viral content too, which is search engine optimised and set up to perform well on social media. I’ve also managed and edited a lot of mostly Wordpress sites.

News stories, features, lists, articles, blogs, opinion pieces, previews and reviews… I’m comfortable with them all. I try to ensure they’re always snappy, entertaining, accurate and funny (if that’s what you want). I specialise in viral news stories, crime, men's lifestyle TV, movies and sport. I can also scribble about pop culture, celebrities and travel, you name it.

I'm constantly in front of my emails and always willing to work, so I’m also useful for tight deadlines and quick turnarounds. I've used dozens of different content management systems, know plenty about SEO and social media marketing - particularly Facebook - and have never missed a deadline (Scout’s honour...).
